        Triftshausers and Werners

This is the last Werner family picture.

Standing: Gramma (Magdelena), Uncle Fred and Aunt Peggy (Martha).

Seated: Great Grandpa and Gramma Werner.

Martha was born after the Werners came to the US.  She was only five years older than mother.

Four generations.  Mother, Great Gramma Werner with Elmer, and Gramma (Werner) Triftshauser.

Emigrated a few years after them.  A great, great uncle to our generation

Gramma and grampa Triftshauser on the farm.  The concrete step at the driveway was built to step up into a horse drawn carriage in the days before cars.
